My mornings are busy, so any breakfast that I can prepare the night before and make my mornings easier, I give two thumbs up to!
The night before I mix together oatmeal, almond milk, cinnamon, vanilla extract and protein to make a delicious breakfast that will be waiting for everyone in the morning. Depending on what I have in my pantry I add other mix ins, mostly fresh fruit I have laying around.
Ingredients (makes 2 servings)
- 1 cup old fashioned oats
- 1.5 cup almond milk
- 2 t cinnamon
- 1 scoop chai or vanilla protein powder
- 1 t vanilla extract
Combine ingredients in a jar, mix together and place overnight in the refrigerator.
