This has been the week of naps. I can’t make it past 2 pm without a power nap for an hour. I am so blessed that I can work from home and be flexible, because my energy depends on this hour nap!! I’ve been putting myself to bed around 10 pm which is early for me and sleeping for at least a good 10 hours. Hopefully this is a good sign that the baby is growing strong 🙂
I have an idea of what I want to design my apartment nursery to look like, so I ordered wooden letters to begin painting and hanging on the wall. Here is my inspiration:
Josh and I ordered the typical What to Expect When You’re Expecting book, along with Dude! You’re going to be a dad to start reading about the next year. I still don’t feel pregnant so it’s hard to believe that anything is changing, despite the tiredness and random headaches, I feel great. We still have 2 weeks until our first 8 week appointment and i think once I verify everyone is healthy inside and the heart is beating strong I will relax more.
I spent Friday this week on the couch with the worst headache I’ve had in awhile. The positive was I caught up on a lot of a Gossip Girl
Size of Baby E: Sweet Pea
Best moment of the week: Running for the first time in a month! I had been laying off exercise even though I knew it was perfectly fine. I did a run/walk with J, and I felt incredible, why have I been holding back!
Epiphany of the week: Naps are incredible – why haven’t I utilized the power nap more before now.
