Because our days with Lottie are joyful chaos. We don’t sit still, (and if we do we are probably being bribed with pretzels and goldfish) so why should we in our photos. We are running, jumping, sliding, and tantruming our way through every day.
Our photographer, Kara DeMerchant, asked us what moments of the three of us do we want to remember. We told her the mornings where Lottie makes coffee with dad, the days spent sliding, having dance parties and rockin’ out on rocking moose. Our tea parties, the endless hours spent cooking and most importantly how much we laugh together.
This is our life captured in a few hours. What our family looks like changed overnight when Henry joined us, but for 23 months there was just the three of us, and together we had so much fun. These are the moments I never want to forget.
