Too often we try to make big changes in the name of our health and fail. One Year Fit aims to implement small habits every week to make a big change at the end of the year.
DON’T TRY TO DO EVERYTHING AT ONCE
One Year Fit isn’t a list of rules and restrictions.
In 52 weeks you will be introduced to 52 new healthy habits. You will be challenged to create your own sustainable healthy lifestyle and find ways to work these new habits into your daily routines.
One Year Fit challenges the concept of dieting. It encourages you to get off the couch and out of the fast food line to lose weight the old fashioned way. Eat real food, move your body and focus on healthy habits that fit with your schedule. No shortcuts or excuses are going to cut it this year, you have to get outside your comfort zone until these healthy habits become routine.
I’m not promising you will lose the magical 15 lbs in 10 days or instantly shed 6 inches. It will take the entire year, and it won’t be as easy as simply avoiding birthday cake and eating an occasional serving of quinoa (what is that?!).
One Year Fit isn’t about the quick fix, I’m focused on changing your lifestyle, getting rid of 20 years of bad habits… and it all starts today.

Quick fixes will quickly be over. You’ve seen it before and if you keep trying for the quick fix you will keep starting over. One Year Fit is about putting in the time and committing to making the change. It’s acknowledging the habit you want to change and knowing yourself and your schedule. There isn’t a one size fits all solution to living a healthy lifestyle. The solution has to come from you.
“WHAT IF I FAIL”
You will. Expect to fail. Things are always going to get busy and creating your healthy lifestyle is trial and error to find what works best for you. Give yourself some grace. Whatever you do, don’t quit. There isn’t a finishline, One Year Fit can be repeated year after year and you will always be able to pull a new habit or adjust an old one to fit into your new phase of life.
